sterotyping
An issue rose up at my smaller childrens school yesterday that made me rather upset. Instead of talking to the principal face to face i opted to write a letter. People that know me will agree was the best thing to do i didnt want to end up being arrested. Well here goes my 14 year old son went to the school to pick up his younger brothers and the principal (I had him as a teacher and he was a bigot and a snob then) told my son he couldnt be there my son responded by saying i am picking up my brothers then the principal said ok but i dont want and gang wars well this enraged me since my child is puerto rican even if he wasnt i would still have been angry. well the principal called me after he read the letter and said it disturbed him and that now his whole staff thinks he said this well i have more than one witness that he did i just dont appreciate sterotyping people my son is an honor student and he stays home and most of his time is spent on the computer working on graphics.
