Milk Drunk. Biscuits Eaten.

Okay.. What a title for my starting entry. I'm trying to be creative.. like 'Eat Man Drink Woman'...

Whatever. *rolls eyes like a biatch*

Last night's incident is what I called 'A Crappy Incident'. Shall not go into much details since this is between the 4 of us, the management team.

Kenneth called me in the morning (I guess, he called me once he reached home) whilst I'm on the way to work to gently tell me something and to calm my frayed nerves down (cos I've sent him a SMS last night) indirectly by hearing my voice, to check whether I'm all right. I sighed heavily and started ranting like nobody's else business as he quietly listened to me after he gave me a green light to allow me to say a few of my own words. I really can't believe that such a person exist in this whole wide world. Who in the hell is in the right mind to keep information from one another.. with what else? With hidden intentions! ARGH. Totally disgusting.

I really got very fed up. So fed up that I almost raise my voice at Kenneth while he listened to me with patience (poor thing!) but after that, I got myself to calm down and I really did after renting a bicycle to cycle the whole of Pasir Ris Park after teaching in the morning. Now, I'm damn tired but satisfied.

There's nothing to grab at the BookFest though... Not all of my favourite authors are being showcased on the bookshelves and when I feel like getting a book (Rape of Nanking), the minute I see the long queue, I forgo and decided to walk off with my family. Spent like 1 and 1/2 hours but nothing to grab.. Excellent.

Came back straight after that and sat through the entire re-run of 'The Mummy' (it's a classic adventurer show that I always loved...). Went to download IBM Lotus Symphony, an Open Office software as Kenneth wants me to read his office documents that can't be opened through Microsoft Office.

The IBM Lotus Symphony really opens up my eyes into another new dimension of another kind of office document software. And apparently, it has features that are different from Microsoft Office. Wonder why some of the people would want to use that? Probably, maybe some of the people are using computers that has Linux, Redhat (they are Open Source Operating Systems whereby the person has to use manual computer programming language to get the Open Source programs running), thus that's why we have Open Office documents that can be exported into HTML or rather into websites with good navigation.

He thinks it is a "lousy" program but for me, coming from the background on where I've studied before (Operating Systems module is one of my favourite IT modules in RP..Heh..), it's just a different program working on different features that are different from Microsoft Office. Now you know why there's a difference in terms of both Microsoft & Open Source.. Microsoft is a pre-programmed Operating Systems with automatic updates whereas Open Source, isn't so. You got to give the Open Source latest updates/patches...all by yourself.

I'm still lucky to have knowledge on Open Source related softwares. Otherwise, I would be very lost, not knowing how to help Kenneth. Yes, afterall, I still got RP to thank for, yes? Or rather, should I thank MOE instead for giving me such a placement in RP?

I'm dying to try on one of the Open Source Operating Systems one day... And I will get my brain 'fried' again if I want to try Linux/Redhat Open Source. Ain't that good in computer programming anyway. Blehz...=P

We're chatting on the MSN... whilst my dear boy, must be off to play his usual DOTA/Red Alert 3 games...-.-! Oh well........... I'm so used to it that it has become part of our lives already. >.<

And I've just finished eating biscuits with a cup of cold milk.

Hence, the title above.
