It's time to pamper myself since this week is going to be a holiday week and it's a beginning week of my 3-4 weeks of rest away from all the orchestra rehearsals & concerts to do.
After that, I would be back, all in my top rejuvenating form, for another round of recitals (2 more to go, actually) & BLCC CO rehearsals in November & December. And after that, in the mid-week of December, I'm flying back to Perth with Marcus to visit our Godparents. Whoo~ I will get 'burn' over there.
In fact, it would be great if I can use the whole month of October to catch up on my cello & piano and my University studies because I admit, with all the distractions that are up recently, I've been way behind time.
However, at the same time, I'm pampering myself with a self-facial treatment at home...I've already bought Nivea Visage's facial mask and all the neccessities for my self-facial treatment at home. I needed that kind of treatment very badly as I can see that my face is getting dull with all the sleeping hours that I've lost for the past 5 weeks and a GIANT pimple that is forming on my chin right now!! My gosh...~ Not again.
So I'm going to switch on my hi-fi system set in my room, make myself a cup of nice hot tea, and set myself to some self-facial treatment spa on my own. Hehe...~ =)
Hey, at least, I'm taking good care of myself.. knowing when to relax and when to get serious!!
Anyway, I'm glad that Singtel's Singapore Grand Prix is over with Feranado Alonso as a crowning champion for Racers & Renult (or is it Mercedes?) as a crowning champion for Constructors' in this Formula 1's Grand Prix. Just as much as I love fast cars (that's the reason behind why I love the movie 'Gone in 60 Seconds'), speed, va-va vroom engine and team control with communication over radio (I'm entralled with such things and I'm definitely excited to hear what they're telling the driver each time there is a broadcast), no thanks to the crowd at Marina Bay Street Circuit area.
I believe even as I'm typing such things now, the crowds over there, has not YET DISPERSE! It will be hellvia party crowd over there. I wonder how such people will be able to get back to work the next day, with the F1 fever still in their very souls.
So watching the F1 race at home is much better than beating the crowds, the heat and the humidity level in Singapore. Yes, no doubt that by watching live, it will increase your adrenaline level... but I'm not a fan of such crowds. No thanks.
And I *heart* Lewis Hamilton. Even though I also feel that Fernando Alonso is a great racer but Lewis Hamilton is still the best racer of all. I'm just slightly disappointed over how he puts his racing strategy; It's obvious that from the very beginning, he's slowing down from his usual best speed time.
Anyway, he is 7 points ahead of Felipe Massa now in terms of overall championships that he has gotten over 15 Grand Prixes (for now.. next is Japanese Grand Prix), due to Massa's grave pitstop error over fuel hose (his racing car is still attached to the fuel hose...what a mistake!) in the race. It now leads him to the top.
However, I do admit.. his looks, does count also larh-arh. Heh. =P
