Hello! =)

Sorry if I reply you any later because I have been quite busy.

Hmm, it varies. To give you a better insight before I plunge into the pay, what happen to this Allied Educator position is that, you are required to tell them what is your specialized knowledge, how can you turn your specialized knowledge into a teaching advantage in schools and how confident can your specialized knowledge be able to help out in school level that you can think you could cope.

Like for example, whatever you study in your Poly or for your diploma, you have to think of subjects related to a national school cirriculum level and that which are the subjects that you're most confident teaching in.

So, this is how the equation works: Information Technology = Computer Applications (Secondary School level).

As for the pay, it varies on how MOE will give you. With related work experience (if you had any), they would offer you what we call 'the market rate' pay. Which means, they're weighed with accordance to how much you're being paid previously from the company itself that you're working currently (or previously) and do a 'balance'. Which also means, that there could be a possibility that you might receive a 1.7K salary and above.

However, if you're a freshie, out from Poly (or any learning institutions) with no working experience (from anywhere else) and you got through the interview by the MOE representatives, probably they would offer you an entry level salary of 1.2K.

So yep. I hope a deeper insight of this position and the salary will give you a better, informed guide to your future career prospects, if you're thinking of being an Allied Educator.

All the best! ^.^...
