See you guys in 10 days or so...
So, I mentioned ages ago that I was going on a canoeing trip through my summer camp. It was going to be awesome, just a group of us in Canada chilling out and paddling for a week.
Well, it was canceled. I found out about two weeks ago, actually, but I never mentioned it. Guess I just kind of...forgot. But, yanno, you'd think that the trip getting canceled would make it so I could stay home. Maybe get to the Renaissance Fair with my friends, or finish some video games, or, hell, even work on getting some babysitting done.
Nope. Instead, I'm a temporary counselor from tomorrow until the 26th, and while it's great of Jer to keep me for free and all, it's not like I want to do this. No way. I had plans to never work there after how last year went, and I meant to keep them, dammit! But mom had plans, and the offer was there, so she took it. And since CC broke my computer last year, I'm not allowed the laptop, so I'm going to have no internet access unless someone else will let me steal, and I won't be able to write any way except for longhand. Which I don't mind, exactly, it's just that I'll have to print out what I do have so I won't lose track of what I'm working on. *sigh*
At least I might finally get my summer reading and art projects done.
