Oh fast internet, how I missed thee...
Hey, I'm home! Actually, I got home yesterday around 2, but since my computer's still fucked up and charger-less I wasn't able to get on until now.
Lizzie left a week before camp ended, which wasn't that unexpected. Nell, a camper who was here for about a week, also left, to the dismay of the Birch counselors. Cause, well...she'd been here a week! It was ridiculous.
I've also realized that there's no way I can come back next year, without risk of going insane. Because there's plans to change the camp session lengths from 3 weeks/4 weeks to 2 weeks/2 weeks/4 weeks. And that's not all. Usually, there's Ski/lifeguard school, then pre-camp for a week, main camp for seven weeks, then Y camp for another week, with Family camp after that. But they're changing it from that to ski/lifeguard school, pre-camp, Y camp, 8 weeks of main camp, and then Family camp. And since I'd be a JC next year, and be a (slightly less) paid staff member, I wouldn't be able to leave, meaning I'd have to be there for a good 10-11 weeks. And I also heard a (not completely confirmed) rumor that the JCs would have to be cabin counselors again next year. They changed it this year so that they would live alone in Lakewood, and be assigned to cabins without actually being their counselors. Kinda like 1 year older CITs. But they'd change it up again, which would totally suck.
That's all I've got for now, but I'll post some pictures in a bit. I'm still looking for a new charger, but I don't know when I'll get around to finding it...
