So close, so very close...
We played the return game against Dinamo Zagreb today. Whoever won this game would go on to the group rounds in Champions League. We lost quite badly last week, 4-1, and had to score at least three goals today to even stand a chance. Of course, no one believed they could do it. Not even I, I'm sorry to say.
They almost did it, though. We won this game with 2-0. Had we scored just one more goal we would have been in Champions League right now.
My heart hurts for my boys more than anything right now. They tried with everything they had and it hurts me to read about how they're sitting, crying in the grass. I just want to hug them all and tell them that they made this city and all of football Sweden proud.
