Man- my students are awesome
So the other day, my supervisor was observing me. A lab was going on in which students were filling up little wells that were molded into a plastic plate- thing. One of my students lifted the clear plastic plate full of chemicals above his head to observe the reaction. I told him to put it down because it's unsafe and he could have spilled chemicals on people (mainly my supervisor who was behind him at the time). he then tried to present scenarios to say that spilling chemicals on people is fun.
This is the one that made me break down and laugh hysterically for five minutes or so:
"So, I take a squirt bottle and fill it with concentrated HCl. I'll go up to people and spray them in the face and tell them that it's holy water. When they start screaming that their face is burning, I'll just say that they're possessed by the devil and the burn is purifying them."
That made my day.
Also, I hit mile 777 on my car ^_^
