Chad Hedricks placed 6th yesterday in the team race. So much for the 5 golds!
I got a very short nap this morning, but nothing to keep me from feeling really exhausted. I was late to get Brian from work, and then we went and cashed his check, had some lunch, and I took him out to his car to get the tire off of it to get it changed.
Bri had said that his spare was missing, but I opened the back, lifted up the carpet where it's supposed to be and said "It's right there?" I'm so glad he's not a car guy. LOL!! So, he put his spare on while Collin and I walked around and looked for the hub cap. His tire really BLEW to smithereens, and the hub cap flew off. It was the driver's side tire that went, so i was looking on the other side of the road for it, but it was on the same side of the road as he was, and nestled up close to a Mazda hub cap. heh - Awwwww Brian has like - a boat load of trash in the Volvo. I've bitched about him trashing up the van when he's in it, but the poor Volvo has seen worse days. So - grateful he's not a car guy, but wishing he was just a tad bit neater. *cocks a brow* You know, i have a thought. He absolutely hates to get his hands dirty, so maybe he's not wanting to touch the trash to throw it away? I dunno, there must be something to make me feel better about this.
Bri took Dillon and went to get a new tire, and I brought Collin home. I am sooo exhausted from getting up at 4 AM to run and get him this morning, and not getting but an hour of sleep after that.
Dillon had a couple games that he wanted to return to Game Stop, and get something different, so I expect them home late, and probably broke. lol Not exactly sure where Dillon is sitting in that car, but *shrugs* Dillon is really sloppy too, so I guess he'll feel right to home.
Collin has a really snotty nose - poor baby. And his little gums are all so swollen, it looks like he's going to get all of his teeth at once. I have a sore throat, and slightly congested too.
Collin and I came home and picked up the Geico insurance bill, and went and got a money order to send to them. I always pay the Geico bill after i get the cancellation notice. Always, whether I have the money prior to that or not! I have paid it early before, like as soon as I got the bill, and the following month it was set to cancel on the same date of the month that it was received the prior month. By paying as late as possible, I keep it due at a constant time of the month, and there's fewer surprises. I hate surprises. The good news is that my insurance bill continuously drops. It started at 200 dollars a month for two cars, and is now down to 129 dollars a month. I guess they're not to awfully bothered by my late pays.
Collin is playing with the girls right now, and starting to sound grumpy, so I think that i'm going to go lay down with him, and see if I can get a snooze.
I have started collecting things for my Belly Dance costuming. Yesterday I got a hair piece that clips over a ponytail. I also have a long braid of Brian's hair from when he got it all cut off, and i'm making little braids out of that to clip in my hair. I'm going to go to a couple stores in Oatman here that do bead work, and get some pretty beads to braid in with the hair - also maybe some strips of leather to wrap around the bottom. I also plan to make a headpeice out of the beads. I think my first costume is going to be red and black. Those are the only colors I can envision it being right now, so i'm going to go with it.
