I live in these apartments called "The Villas at jasmine Park" here in Pensacola. Villas my ass - they're dinky little apartments and the management doesn't enforce any of their rules until it suits them to do so, and guess what? they are suited to do so on me right now - i got 3 - yes 3 eviction notices today.
The rent is due on the first, they have a sign up that they issue a late fee on the the 5th, and they issue eviction notices on the 20th.
Last Friday the pool opened, and we went in on Saturday, and on Sunday my insulin pump site was hurting me, so I removed it, and puss ran out =- I also had the shits, and so did Collin and so did Kristen.
On Monday I contacted the Health department and filed a complaint - asked them to come check the pool for Bacteria.
Today (Thursday technically for me as i haven't been to bed yet) The health department called me back and said "We haven't opened that pool yet, so I don't know what you were doing swimming in it!"
I informed the health department lady that not only were other people swimming in that pool, but the gate was open, and the assistant apartment manager was swimming in it with us!
About an hour later we got 3 eviction notices - non payment of rent (see above where they issue those on the 20th of the month) for having bikes on our porch, and for not paying the dog deposit yet. None of which have they ever mentioned to us before and we see her all the freaking time.
The puss is gone out of my belly now, and the runs have gone away - the baby threw up last night several times but he is better now - so it's too late to go to the doctor and get any sort of evidence that we were exposed to bacteria by these people - when the pool wasn't supposed to be swam in.
I'm angry - not about the evictions - i want the hell out of here anyhow - I'm angry that they were intentionally negligent, and it made me very sick, and put my overall health in danger.
It angers me more that there isn't anything I could do about it. i'm not the suing type - I REALLY am not - I've been through things and in accidents and experienced stuff where everyone around has gone "so when you gonna sue?" and I just shrug - i guess I still believe in accidents. This was no accident though, and yes - I take it personal. If this pool had been up to date on it's inspe4ctions and Ok'd by the health department, then i wouldn't be angry - water systems get contaminated - it's an accident. You see?
We went and looked at a beautiful house tonight in Gulf Breeze - the rent is only 150 dollars more than here and it is a HOUSE with a HUGE yard, and 3 bedrooms. The man seemed Ok about our dogs, and the whole nine yards. We called the man and left a message that we have a 100 dollars this week to hold if for a week, and could pay him the rest next Friday - so PLEASE cross your fingers and toes, light your candles, pray, and think good thoughts for us! It was being "home" the minute we walked in.
Baby Collin got in the car and said "Let's go get our stuff and bring it here." It's in the same city as Brian's new job, and very close to the beaches and the Gulf. The schools in Gulf Breeze are rated 10 out of 10 - now, i've heard some people say negative things about the schools there - things like the kids there are rich spoiled surfer kids, and they maybe test well, but they're wild. *shrugs* all I can do is give them a try - If it doesn't work, we'll do online school. The schools here in Pensacola are a nightmare with abusive teachers AND bad ratings (3 out of 10).
