I should probably start by iconing more.
It's still so strange to see my icons being used though! Not like bad-strange but... strange.
Like seeing yourself on TV or something.
A couple of weeks ago, some guy asked me out. Through his friend.
So I was just sitting there by my usual lonesome self and probably emitting that "Ooooo~ looooner~" ray that I usually emit. This time I was sitting near the snack room since other classes took over my usual spot near the girls bathroom and the exit in order to play some uh... game? Idk, they were like dragging and throwing each other around walls and giggling.
A couple of minutes into sitting there, some guy comes up and sits down next to me and asks what my name is.
I turned and looked around before looking back and going "...wha?" and then realizing "oh um... [name]". He mispronounced it but that's normal. People mispronounce my name all the time although it's fairly simple imo.
Then basically:
"ok, I have this friend, Steven, he's kinda shy and he thinks you're cute"
"!" *looks down at hallway* *sees several guys giggling... one guy waved, couldn't really see his face though* *immediately turns head back* *face buuurns*
"So can I get your phone number"
"Uh... um..." *looks down at ground*
"Well?"
"Um... why?" *still awkward*
"He wants to ask you out on a date"
"!" "Oh... um... I... don't... date?"
"Why?"
"Um... I... uh... never felt... the need to?" *shuffle*
"Ok then. Well, if you never dated before then why not just try it out? You will need to socialize and date sooner or later. You two might get along, you never know right?"
"Hm. I guess you have a point there an-"
"LEGAL SYSTEMS LET'S GO!"
"!" "!" *jeers from what appears to be a crowd* Some people going "lol aw darn". *face buuuuuuurns even more*
*classmates talk about what happened and argue with the teacher for rest of class*
*head implode* *tries to hide under desk*
I'm still not quite sure if that was some sort of joke or not. What with the faces those people from the other classes were making (they're either mocking me or the shy guy) and the fact that I'm hardly pretty enough to make some guy so shy that he can't just approach me himself. And then there's the aftermath.
Oh god. The worst part is that it is the 2nd time that my teacher has cockblocked some guy who approached me. The first time's slightly less embarrassing though.
But still. I've never been asked out before in my life (Well, there's that time some jerk's cousin in my German class told me that said jerk wants me. I'm 100% sure that was a joke.). It's just so awkward!
Wtf. I mean, I grown up on the 'net! I've acidentally saw tentacle hentai (at least three times now), some guy with a giant fenced in his ass, goatse, bukkake, etc. etc. I'm not even phased by Harlequin Ichthyosis babies anymore! Why am I still such a mouse?! D:
