Being Human
How good is Being Human?! Okay, I've only seen one episode so far, but it was excellent.
I've seen it be mentioned here and there in magazines (such as SFX) and online, but somehow got the impression it was a sitcom. I knew it was about a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost living together, but together with the 'sitcom' element that didn't really appeal to me at all.
However, it's actually an hour-long show that's certainly very funny and witty, but more of a drama than anything else. From the off you can tell it's well produced (one of my complaints about Doctor Who is that sometimes it looks as if it's been made by the CBBC rather than the BBC). And the acting and writing was very good. It was a very smart genre show - the kind of thing I'd love to be able to write one day. Now I'm looking forward to catching up with whatever other eps are available.
