the hayfire project

y friends here in pittsburgh have started an artist group through couchsurfing called the hayfire project:

what this group consists of is people who have free studio space for artists available at their disposal in their town. artists coming together to not only collaborate their artistic talents but also share the art that is created with the host that they are staying with.
the main goal is to connect artists, share art, experience the beauty of creation and sharing.
the name hayfire comes from tearing apart a metaphor. this will be like finding a needle in the haystack, only we will now have the chance to burn the hay away and come up with as many needles as we want.
