a girl without a home,
a story without an end.
faced with blank pages
our heroine normally
cheats through reading
when shes bored
skimming ahead
to have something to look forward to,
sometimes even reading the whole story backwards.
absent the option this time,
she looks instead to the horizon
and sees love waiting patiently there,
long hair blowing in the wind.
while nothing in this life is certain
the opportunity to live it is certainly enough.

ill be coming back home to pa soon enough, a prospect im very excited about--seeing and loving on all my familiar faces. i dont really have a plan yet except to try to get unemployment while i try to find my way to the mountains. in the meantime, ive gotta figure out how to get myself to pennsyltucky. i would like very much to take advantage of rideshare or couchsurfing to be able to stop & visit with my friends in the south before leaving this quadrant. in looking at a map, i figured i have enough friends in enough states to make it all the way to at least virginia. if anyone knows of a friendly couch, let me know!
