Okay, so I will admit that when I saw this was second-person, I had to arm-wrestle myself away from the backspace key, because that normally sends me into fits of dread and terror. However, I promised myself I was going to read all the SLB fics, and so I did, in fact, refrain from backspacing.

AND I'M SO GLAD I DID. That was just lovely, in all the best ways. I think the POV was actually pretty awesome, in this case, since it gave the whole story sort of a dreamy quality for me, distanced but still somehow getting into all the FEELINGS that Kevin is dealing with. And the humor mixed in just hit the spot, to keep everything balanced and not too angsty/internal. So basically, I loved this, and I'm so glad I read it. And that you wrote it! YAY YOU! \0/
