Ugh, the stuft
I was surprised to find an early riser on my FL, so the lovely shamafrog and I ventured out for some b-fast. With Pride wrapping up today, venturing in Hillcrest wasn't an option, so we went with Marie's Cafe, on University just east of 30th, first time for both of us. OMG, yum. The coffee was strong, the pancakes were fluffy, the french toast had yummer cinnamon, and the topper (well, for me, not her) was the bacon. It was *thisclose* to Original Pancake House, and that's close enough for me. Plus, her order came with it, so I got it all to myself and it was good. The staff was friendly, it wasn't busy at all and we were well fed for under $20. Definitely gonna have to go again, especially since it's walking distance from Shama's. Oh, and a Yog-art is opening up a few doors down, and they'll have Boba!!!
