Please to be making it naptime, m'kay?
So tired.....had another event in OC yesterday, and while the drive is shorter, I got less sleep the night before, so now I'm wiped. Still, it was a good event, and we even got mention on a cool recruiting blog. Plus, 2 hours in D-land the night before, so I got some scream therapy in.
The drive home was painless, but teh suck was in finding someone blocking our driveway so I had to park a block away, and was paranoid about having all my event stuff in the car and far away. Cops were called on the blocker, but they only ticketed the car (instead of towing like they've done before), but at least the car had left before Tym had to go to work. Teh suck was countered by the wonderful presence of karenbcrazy and kockeyed. Tymmi was cooking up some chicken and Karen was nice enough to provide some artichokes, so we stuffed our faces and enjoyed the end to a crappy day (the girls had the bigger crappy days), with some fantastic Black Adder on the tube.
Looking forward to a happy hour tomorrow with former TEC co-workers, then renn faire classes this weekend so I can be an official participant. The faire runs April 5th through May 18th, and we'll probably post when we'll be there, so I hope some folks come check it out!!
