House Fire (Yeah it was mine that burned)
Hey all,
I don't know how many will see my post to Feudal Tales but it is shut down until further notice due to the fact that we had a housefire yesterday.
We all got out safely but due to damage and smoke we can't live at home for a while. Currently my daughter is living with my brother and his wife while Varlet (my hubby) and I are in a hotel room not far from home. We don't know when we will be able to go home or even at this point where or if we will be celebrating Christmas. It broke my heart to tell Owl (My daughter) this she was upset but understood. This year it will be more important that we still have a house. It needs repairs but we still have a place to call home. Thats most important.
Owl was wondering if Santa was still going to come (Yes she still believes and it is probably her last year to do so) I am debating with myself on whether or not to tell her the truth as I'm not sure we or Santa can even put anything in her stocking.
I am so blasted tired. We were on the phone all day dealing with insurance, family and eveyone in between. I am to the point I hate phones.
If anyone wants to write me a note to say hi Priestess Skye and Minerva_one have my addy because like I said I have no idea when I'll be able to get on the computer. My brother was nice enough tonight to let me borrow it.
Anyway, have to run. Need to get back to the hotel room and get to bed as we have back to back appointments all day. (Ah lordy my legs are going to be so swollen by the time we get done!)
