I stumbled across this interesting article on MSN.ca and while the headline was about a Canadian politician by the name of Belinda Stronach the really entertaining bit was a few paragraphs down. Seems Belinda's former flame Peter McKay (our Foreign Affairs Minister, no less) has been soothing his troubled heart with another political siren...
These rumours come sizzling hot on the heels of stories that Stronach's ex-boyfriend putting the "affairs" into his Foreign Affairs Minister title. Innuendos flew on both sides of the border over Peter McKay's chemistry with the U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, 51, during a visit to the 40-year-old McKay's riding, Central Nova in Nova Scotia. McKay told a press conference-that's right, a press conference!-that Condoleezza, "loves the cool Atlantic breezes here in Nova Scotia and she left the window open last night." It's Condi gone wild!
A super sassy spokesperson, Sean McCormack, hit back at a reporter who asked if there were candles at a dinner the pair had last Monday. "It was a well-lighted dinner with electricity-based lighting," he said, adding that the chaperone for the strictly business date was an entourage of 20 between the two power players. But there are so many lingering, sexy questions! Were the lights dimmed? Did they feed each other ice-cream? How did Condoleezza's hair look in the moonlight? Tragically, we may never know, but I'm rooting for Peter to get a second date.
