I voted for the first time during this election. I also came to the realization that I need to care and pay attention to what's happening to the country, even if I am an idiot if when it comes to politics. Hehehe! ^^;;

It's great that you can drive now. I still haven't learned how to drive. Ah, I need to get my butt in gear. LOL! XD

Good luck with all your school work! Just remember that we only have to suffer a few more weeks before the semester ends. :)

Ha, I feel you there. I still don't get politics for the most part at all. But we dumb people still need to know what's going on with our country and such. How was it voting for the first time?

Well, I kind of had to learn to drive before I started college because I'd be commuting between home and campus. It was no easy task, though considering how much I like to drive now, you wouldn't know that. XD

Still. Even though it's a few weeks before the end of semester, before the end we still have exams and projects. Boo hiss. >.<*

Yeah, we may not get politics like politically savvy people but we still need to make an effort. In fact, I think it's kind of our responsibility. Voting for the first time was fun! It wasn't as grandiose as I thought it was going to be but it felt good all the same.

I see. Well, I take the bus and trolley to my college so it's only reinforced my dislike for driving. Ehehe. (>.>) Eventually though, I know that I'm going to have to learn how to drive. ^^;;

*sigh* That's very true. I have a bunch of exams next week myself. Not to mention two papers that I need to get started on before it's too late. Mou! WHEN WILL THE TORTURE END?! D:

I agree, especially now that I'm getting a taste of how political decisions actually affect my life. Again, self-absorbed, but it just goes to show how personally affecting and widespread its effects are. I'm glad your voting experience went well. I read in the school paper that a girl turned 18 on this voting day and voted for the first time obviously, which is neato.

Florida, or least my city, has a more or less nonexistent public transit system, so unless I wanted to bug my parents everyday to take me to class which I didn't think they'd appreciate, I had to get my license quick. I'm always surprised by how many people learned how to drive later than I did. I was almost 19 when I finally got my license.

Until we're through with college forever, probably. XD I have so much coming up, but I keep distracting myself with the Internet. This is so going to bite me in the butt later on. I can already feel it.

It may have taken us a while but at least we're finally wising up and starting to try and follow politics. (The key word there is "try" of course. LOL!) Better late than never though, I suppose! During the next election, you should make a post about how your first voting experience goes. I'd like to know about it. :)

It's too bad that your city's public transport system is non-existent. I'm not going to say that riding the bus and trolley is always a wonderful experience (because it isn't) but it does cut down on the expenses. Especially with gas prices so high up. Although, the prices have been dropping lately in my area. I think it just goes up and down as the year progresses.

We always procrastinate and it always bites us in the ass later on but we never stop procrastinating. What is wrong with us? XD

Ha ha, "try" is always the key word. Will do, I'm sure. Even if it's something lame and written in Lolcat like, "I voted. I is grown-up nao."

Cheapest gas price I saw recently for regular unleaded gas was $2.11 per gallon. That has the driver in me excited. Whenever I go on public transportation I get excited like a kid in the candy store because I don't do it often. Heck, I never even rode the school bus. XD

Who knows, but in either case we don't seem to be learning from past experience and mistakes. Go us? XP
