Who would've thought an episode about Andi's schmoozy ex Greg would be so much fun? I wasn't looking forward to it when the spoilers came out because it didn't have to do with the sewper sekrit demon rebellion or the show's mythology, but Chainsaw Monster!Greg was freaky. Even though his rage manifesting as the monster from...what movie is it? I'm not familiar with horror flicks. Anyway, cute idea, or cute in the sense that the Devil likes getting his morbid kicks off his souls. The Devil is such a trip. He was so excited making Sam see Andi getting cozy with Greg. "Omg Sam you know what this means? KILL HIM YAY IT'S SO FUNNY!" He's such a fanboy for himself.
Gladys/Dennis are a thing? Sock called it, and I'm inclined to believe it. She was so flirty with that stoner of a demon. It was so cute. XD
Sam is such a good guy, saving Greg's soul from hell after the guy tried Jedi mind tricking Andi into loving him and tried to saw Sam's head off. I can't blame Andi for being such an airhead half this ep. since I guess mind-controlled infatuation -- or well, just infatuation -- makes you stupid. But I loved her talking on the phone with Greg. "Oh, that's just Sam. We're talking about running away together," as Sam in the background winces. And her in the car with Sam in the beginning of the ep.
Andi: So what vessel did you use to catch the bug lady? (Or however that line went)
Sam: Defective toaster.
Andi: ...
That is so hot.
Ah-ha, SO CUTE.
I had to kind of feel sorry for Greg for being such a screwup and beating himself up for it. No wonder he wanted to win Andi over so badly. He thinks he's a total idiot and needs a win every once in a while. I can definitely relate. Except for the hitting on my step-mother part. Uhhh, yeah. Holy crap, even though he didn't go through with it, I still can't believe Sam had the guys get him a shotgun to kill Greg. Of course with the WTFery running rampant in this ep., Sam fails at loading bullets and it made that scene morbidly funny.
Note to self: Look up word "morbid" in thesaurus. Oh. And "cute."
Sara was totally trying to milk being married to Ben down to the last drop. "I get to date and get pregnant with my circus boyfriend of four years while making you take care of the kid and pretend it's yours, but oh! What, you say you got yourself a little girlfriend? NOT GONNA HAPPEN." Crazy lady, you. Ah, but there's nothing more romantic than going out to dinner in the hospital cafe with your mistress while hiding out from your crazy Green Card wife. Ben. You go 16 episodes with no romantic prospects whatsoever, and all of a sudden-- Boom! Insta-stud muffin! The way he stood up to Greg and drilled him about making their mistakes right. So help me, he was so hot shaking the guy into getting a hold of himself. Not so hot, though? Ted offering to make Ben, Sara, and Cassidy's love triangle a square? What a creep. DX
Dag, I love this show.
