01) I have a hard time taking myself seriously. If I have to seriously talk about myself in regards to anything -- especially regarding my lack of a romantic life -- I start to feel incredibly awkward and immediately want the subject to go somewhere else.
On a related note, that's probably why I always have dorky Profile Pics. "Moeeeeeeee~"
02) I've always known I wanted to write for a living. It's writing what and how to go about figuring out which career path I want to take that stumps me.
03) I'm online way too much for my own good, mostly lurking in the wanktastic depths of LiveJournal. Despite my near constant online time, I hardly go on AIM, Facebook, or MySpace. Basically -- anywhere I have to interact with people. :\
04) In my most irreverent fantasies, I sometimes hope a cataclysmic event destroys the earth before I graduate so I don't have to worry about what I'm going to do with my life after school. Then I remember I'm terrified of pain and that's a horrible end to wish upon the rest of the world.
05) Speaking about other things that terrify me: my future holy crap, hospitals, blood, needles, sharp things in general, really really deep water, really really tall heights, getting too close to people, big and/or really playful dogs, ending up a total screw-up, and surgery of any sort. Even lasik freaks me the frick out.
06) I overuse emoticons in chat. None of those ugly graphic smileys, though. Why are they always hideous, anyway?
07) I'm older than a lot of my peers biologically but way younger than them mentally/emotionally. I used to take it as a compliment when people said I don't look or seem like a 20-something year old, but now I'm not sure what to make of it.
08) Apparently, I still shop in the juniors section. I did not realize this until I was on a shopping trip with my Auntie and 15-year old cousin Tayler, and Tay and I were digging for clothes in the same area.
I also enjoy window-shopping more than coughing out dough actually shopping.
09) I feel like it's a cosmic joke that I was this amazing, achieving student in high school and ended up some loser nobody who has no idea what to do with her life as I'm leaving college. Feck whoever said college was the best time of their life. High school was my time of glory.
10) I don't think I'll ever grow completely out of my anime fandom, even though I should. I've been into the stuff since DiCk came out with the Sailormoon dub, and it's quite a big part of who I am now.
...Maybe that's not a good thing. O.o;;
11) Contrary to popular belief, I try to look at the bright side of things. It's just that imagining the bad happening is a heckuva lot easier.
12) I'm complaining to three different people on AIM right now about my overbearing shyness. That's kind of really pathetic.
13) I hate dressing up fancy and formal. I consider wearing a skirt of any sort dressing up. Besides, with my legs, you do not want to see me in one anyway.

14) Unlike most people, I was a commuter student first, then moved on-campus for my last year because my family moved. There are some aspects of campus life I enjoy and others not so much, but so far it's been pretty neat. It's helping me grow up a bit, too. Boo, adulthood. XD;;
15) I think all of the replacement curse words I've used or think I picked up are cute and funny. I also enjoy making up dumb words and phrases like "fricktasticamazing" and "dag yo, face-head!"
Also: "-face" is my personal honorific (think along the lines of Mr./Mrs., -san/-chan, Ate/Kuya, etc.) of endearment or sarcastic insult. Which it is at the moment depends on the context.
16) LJ/IJ RP is one of my nerdy hobbies. (Wow, I spelled that as "hobbits" at first, what?) I mainly got into it to get me writing somewhat consistently, since I'm not incredibly inspired. It also really helps improve my writing. Even my Intro to Creative Writing prof agreed. Said it helped me write realistic dialogue and give my characters personality. See, RP is useful, yos!
17) I really miss a lot of my old friends. I wish I'd never lost contact with them. I also fear the Rekmas. Take that as you will.
18) Red is my absolute favorite color. It's pretty safe to guess at least half of my wardrobe is some shade of red.
19) My family means more to me than anything in the world. I may not be the best at showing it, but it's the truth. They see me through everything -- even the crap I don't want them to -- and they're always there when I need them.
20) Despite my literary aspirations, I don't read a lot in my spare time. I started a resolution this year to read a book for every week of the year to remedy this.
21) If I clam up around you in conversation or ramble on about nothing, it's not because of you. I'm just bad at the talking thing.
22) I look dag good in glasses. As in, I wouldn't look right without them on, and not everyone can pull the four-eyed look off. Not like I'm sexy in them or anything. Yeah.
23) I wish I was more Filipina.
24) If I'm writing anything while I'm online, I always have M-W.com up to check my spelling and use the thesaurus. No joke, I'm a nerd like that.
25) One of my way out there, never going to happen but I like to pretend to myself career fantasies is being a singer. I kind of love it and hate it when people say I should try out for American Idol. My voice could use some work honestly, but hey, thanks for the thought! XD
