Valentine's Day...
You know I've never been a person who's ever thought of themselves as big on Valentine's Day. Until this year.. when my 9 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son were the only people to even *say* "Happy Valentine's Day" to me, aside from an old friend.
C didn't hardly talk to me. There definitely wasn't any cuddling/snuggling/whatnot. No card, no poem, not even an e-mail.
After two years with him getting expensive reservations for that day and/or a poem or three/a trinket, or general just spending time with me.. I'm really hurt. I even said as much.. and he... didn't respond. Just said "I was tired".. and turned away.
I'm.. really scared that this is a precursor to more (again).. and I just don't think I could handle it if it happened again..
