Ok just read one of Erik's livejourals...and all I have to say is one thing. It takes a real man to be a father...he needs to get off his ass and come see her more than 2 days a week. Child support is great and all, but if he wants to be considered a father, time is precious...especially now that I'm moving out. And for Erik...I'll see you in court

Rena, my comment goes both ways. I can understand where you would be extremely upset for more than one reason, and I understand where Erik is upset. I reciently found out that my mom never loved my dad, even when they got married. So speaking from experience, if you and Erik cannot communicate in a civilized manor, the family life for Katja will be very difficult. I really think that one day, you and Erik need to just sit down and quietly talk. When one person talks, the other listens, and vice versa. No interrupting, no yelling. Just talk. This is not about you or Erik, but it is about Katja and her future. Because both of you love Katja more than anything else, you need to do this. This goes for Erik too. I love the both of you, and I am hoping you can work things out for Katja's sake.
