I had no idea she was married either until I read it in LJ. However, I was probably not as close to her as you were. I have learned over time that friends from high school slowly drift away, even if it is on accident. I rarely talk to any of my friends from high school, and you know how many people I was friends with back then. It isn't a bad thing, and it isn't a good thing. People change, and sometimes it isn't what anyone really wants. Stephanie Grohall and I were very good friends, and now anything I know of her is because her little sister tells me. Yeah, it is difficult to accept sometimes, especially since I was very good friends with her, but people do things that we won't understand sometimes. So when I find out Stephanie is getting married, most likely, it won't be from her. Then there's Melissa Senft.
