you're a furry little gnome and we feed you too much
A few days ago we were watching TV. There was a commercial on about dog food, which started by saying: "You don't feed your family dry food from a bag."
Me: "If it would make your stomach behave, Ma, I wouldn't let you eat anything else."
Mum: "What?"
Me: "If there was some kind of special kibble that keeps old people healthy that is all you'd be allowed to eat."
Riley: "KIBBLE? I LIKE KIBBLE."
Mum: "Oh. I'd be okay with that."
Me: "Old-folks chow!"
Mum: "You could buy it in bulk!"
Me: "That would be so convenient!"
Mum: "Why don't they have that?"
Me: "You'd get bored of it and sneak cookies."
Mum: "I would not."
Me: *glare, eyebrow*
Mum: "... I would."
Riley: "HEY WE MISSED SECOND BREAKFAST YOU KNOW."
