haaaa wow.
So far this month I'm at about 240.00 dollars.
I'm writing this because I really want to buy a Nintendo 3DS pretty much just to play Animal Crossing and I am trying to justify it to myself. As if I need another time waster. :V
Buuuut. My dad just got me a new furnace and I need to pay him back for that. Which is like...$1500. And I didn't really desperately need so idk. Hopefully I save enough on my heating bills this winter to make it worthwhile. :V
Omg so that huge line of thunderstorms came through here on Wednesday night. Jesus Christ. They warned about it all day and there was a tornado watch til midnight but the storms didn't come til way after that. It started around 2:30 and woke my ass up because the lightning was literally non stop and the rain was SO LOUD. Then it started to taper off...
GIANT CRACK OF THUNDER
LIGHTS GO OUT
SIREN STARTS GOING OFF
I leap out of bed, grab Kita, my phone, and the duvet and make a mad dash for the basement before the siren stops and the lights come back. Then I stood in the living room shaking like a leaf waiting for the TV to reset itself to see the weather warnings. It's just all "lol severe thunderstorm warning" so I went back to bed. Of course I was flooded with adrenaline by this point so I couldn't fall asleep. And then the second wave of storms hit and those were the windy ones, so I had to go around shutting all the windows because I was getting rain in my face from the window at the foot of the bed. :V Annnd then I didn't fall asleep til like 5 and was super messed up at work the next day. Which was okay because Johnna is terrified of storms and spent the night in a similar fashion.
The siren, by the way, is for like the fire dept or something, I don't even know. My neighbors said it was to warn if someone needed help in the river at some point but they don't know what it's for anymore. And the actual fire dept is down the road and has its own siren. This one is literally across the street from my nextdoor neighbor and it is LOUD.
Ughh gotta clean my house this weekend. And my car. And buy groceries. //lazes//
