Happy 4th !!!

Today went pretty well. Did some work from home while Bill was at work. When he came home, he picked up El Pollo Loco and then we took Loki to the Scottsdale dog park across from Tempe Town Lake. We of course made the mandatory Starbucks stop on the way. We had a good time watching the fireworks and playing with all the doggies. One dog tried to mount Loki but she handled it like a lady in front of her daddy. Daddy was about to lose his mind though. Then there was a scrawny female shepherd looking dog that kept wanting to play with Loki. Every time Loki would start running, this shepherd would steamroll her full speed. It totally freaked her out, so she would get knocked over and let out a high pitched cry which looked hilarious coming from the biggest dog out there. It was kind of embarrassing, but funny as hell in the same breath. That's our big bad wolf. She is just the opposite of Nashoba, great with people but scared of other dogs. She would go from person to person getting attention but ignored all the other dogs. Sheesh. Need to socialize her more. What was also funny was that when she was crying, you could just picture her saying, "Don't you speak wolfie? No, means no."

The job is stressful but rewarding. I talked to my boss about a raise yesterday and much to my surprise, he agreed with me...YAY!!! I should find out how much in the next couple of days. He is really happy I am there.

Time to go to sleep so I can be at work in the morning. Nighty Night
