Since the tragic death of Michael Jackson 25.6.2009, I have been on forums relating to Michael. Have learnt a lot. Am now a regular on there.
I have not kept up to date with my diary since his death, so am starting fresh for 2010.
The countdown to 2010 was very poor. We watched BBC1 and the whole decade of the millennium was shown in flashes. MJ's demise was mentioned of course. There have been an awful lot of people (celebrities) who passed away in 2009:
Brittany Murphy, Patrick Swayze, Farrah Fawcett, Stephen Gately, Wendy Richards, Taylor Mitchell (young girl killed by coyotes) and of course the magnificent King of Pop himself.
Have been doing stories featuring the King of Pop, also a lot of poetry.
Hope now to keep up to date with the diaries. Also live journal needs looking at.
I don't make New Years Resolutions because I always break them. The one that I must keep though is to clear my one credit card.
So bringing in the New Year, hubby and I didn't do anything really. After Mylene Klass on BBC1 we watched a stupid film that hubby recorded featuring Debbie Harry as a woman who had a little boy prisoner and was about to eat him. It turned out she was cooked instead. The little boy stayed alive by tellling her stories. Stupid film.
Less fireworks this year around the area.
Weather has not only been very cold and icy, but also snow today again. A fine coating. Bad weather has stopped us from having a trip to Cardiff.
Visited parents twice today, first in the afternoon, and then later on after Dr Who featuring David Tennant's last performance as the doctor. Sad really. He was brilliant. EE was okay. Nobody died this New Year, but there have been two deaths recently. Archie's on Christmas Day and Libby's father has yet to be found.
Corrie is boring at the moment.
I hope 2010 is a better year.
It is with thanks to the gorgeous King of Pop that I have a new burst of creativity and friends on different forums.
RIP Michael and all those who passed away during 2009.
