How did you spend summers when you were a kid?
Woah! So I had to do this one cos I just saw a sunset that reminded me of this. Yesterday when I went to get stuff for my (failed!!) cookies, the sky was streaked pink and blue like cotton candy. I haven't seen that (or haven't noticed) a sky like that since summer camp 6 years ago. It reminded me of going to get ice cream on one of those trailers that people go on hay rides on, on a Saturday and watching movies and then trying to get up the giant stairs in the dark with out a flashlight. It reminded me of summer camp crushes, kisses, pool parties, cheesecake fights... and time spent with people that you'll remember the rest of your life. It's funny, the different perspective you get when you've the way I've been for awhile. When you see something like that candy sky and wonder "has it been the world that's been so different the past few years, or me?"
writer's block,
summer
