Happiness of Four
I had a good time today. We loaded up (me, Cass, Jeff, and the G-parents) in the pouring rain and headed to Lake Livingston. We got our fire started to grill hamburgers and suddenly we couldn't see the other side of the lake, so we grabbed our stuff and sat in the X-Terra till it blew over to a small shower. Then Clabert cooked the burgers while I sat in the X-Terra with the ladies and drank alcoholic beverages. Well, only two, so I was only buzzed.
After a while the rain cleared up and I walked around and took pictures. Then it got hot and I took a siesta in the backseat until it was time to leave. What lovely fun without children.
Funny story: I ate a Twix on the way home, and I was kind of slumped in my seat. Two pieces of chocolate from my candy bar fell into my bra. I found one, and I couldn't find the other so I didn't worry about it anymore. When I got out to buy diapers at CVS in Cleveland, I stood up and looked down to discover a smear of chocolate across my cleavage where my boobs had melted it. I had quite a laugh, and Jeff blushed.
