praise GOD!
okay, GOD has answered my prayers and i am so very thankful! i have been praying for months for a new job to present itself and, since i haven't worked for three weeks at jewel, i have totally no money and no way to pay for college. i have been so panicked and worried and feeling really down about it all. well, today i got a call and found out i got hired at XXI aka forever 21 at the mall and they are starting me at $7 an hour. more than i make at jewel and no heavy lifting! Thus, i can now afford college and i am so happy!

my birthday was great thanks to my awesome friends for hanging with me on friday and saturday. roots was great, too, and i am so thankful for all of my friends. even all my friends i didn't see but who've kept in touch since school ended. i am so thankful for all of you and i'm glad to see that our relationships can last.

i've got about 200 pages left in the new harry potter book. i've been trying SOOOOO hard to make it last really long...because who knows when #7 is coming...but i'm still reading it quickly. this is the longest i've made one last though and that's only because i've not been home much over the weekend. *shrugs*
