by the way, yesterday me and dan started playing clock towers 3. he has a stronger will for the horror than i do, so after about 5 minutes of being chased by th serial killer sledgehammer i gave him the controller and we got like an hour and a half in...with many breaks so as not to die of a heart attack. THAT GAME IS TERRIFYING!!! which i knew, because i rented it lik right when it came out...a year or so ago? i think...and i couldn't get past a half hour in...my nerves are so shot...
also, adding to my shot nerves, so like last monday when i got back from cornerstone had to bring my dad to the hospital and all that. well, yesterday morning right before church i go to turn my phone off, see he left me a message, the voice mail was fuzzy but i heard surgery so i called him back and, yep, he had to have surgery. okay, so let's recall: his doctor stressed that my dad would likely die if he had surgery again...but, in this case (as usual) if they didn't try he WOULD die no matter what. soon. plus, his doc felt confident that my dad would make it through the surgery fine it was all about the recovery afterward. so when church was over me, naomi, and dan (whom, as i said, i hung out with yesterday) went over to see him. when we got there they were prepping him for surgery and we had about 5 minutes to say hi and bye. around 4pm yesterday my aunt called and said he was out of surgery and he was fine and all.
turns out it wasn't so much a hernia that the problem was but that his colon was swollen 3 times the normal size, ready to burst, which would have killed him. plus, his whole stomache area was thus swollen which hindered his lungs from expanding so he couldn't breath what with his lung problems and such, then they find in surgery that, as usual, his intestines are all completely scarred and what not (ya know, intestinal bypass reversal 2 years ago and scar tissue and stuff since) and now there's kidney problems with BOTH of them. that, however, might have been because of the colon problem so they're monitoring it all over these next few days and we'll see...
so...that's kidna what's been going on...
