Two Months Left
One positive note about last Friday - the truck is reserved. I spoke with the nice folks at Penske and got a pretty good rate. Plus, using xany-hellion's AAA number gets me a further discount. So the truck rental isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be (as in, the move is thus far costing about half of what I thought it would).
I packed my first box last night. stardusted13 has been kind enough to supply me with some boxes from her work and I wandered over to CVS last night, which took a lot of effort given that I'd been sitting on my lazy butt all weekend, and bought some tape. The first box packed was games. It's not sealed because I may still need to access them, but they're packed. I would have started with books but the boxes I've got right now are the wrong size (i.e. would weigh OMFG TONS if filled with books), so I'll wait on that until I've purchased some smaller boxes. Using the ones I've got, I think I'll start packing some of the unused kitchen appliances or something. Maybe hit the basement to get rid of some stuff. And there's the project of cataloging my VHS tapes to figure out which ones stay, which ones go, and which ones get put on the DVD wishlist. Google docs, here I come.
Anyone got a good line on cheap boxes? I found a site with some great rates on boxes, but am curious if anyone has heard of them/knows of their quality?
