Feels like a Morlock kind of morning. Wandering about with no brain saying, "Feed and caffeinate. Feed and caffeinate."
Yesterday, more specifically last night, was rather busy. I had a tutoring session after work that ended up being shorter than planned due to traffic. Then headed home for about 10 minutes, just enough time to redo my nail polish, before heading out to dinner with
theungod666 at Watch City Brewery. With the exception of not putting in a load of laundry before going to dinner, I was on track.
Got back from dinner around 10 and threw in a load of laundry. It was about then that I got a call from
photochicky77 regarding something that happened a couple of months ago. It was probably the funniest thing I've heard in about a month, but extremely confidential so I can't post without filtering. I then got online, checked my e-mail from work, ran a couple of reports for work, and IMed with Crazy Jason and
xany-hellion, all the while continuing to do work and laundry. The laundry was done around 12:30-ish. I got off of the computer around 1 and started folding laundry and packing. Before I knew it, it was around 3 a.m. and I had cleaned half of my room, polished my boots, packed, hung up a month's worth of stuff-that-had-been-piled-on-the-dresser, sifted through two months worth of junk mail I had kept for some inexplicable reason, and watched all sorts of programs on the History Channel. I then proceeded to try on most of the sundresses I own, only to find that all of them, including my CFM dress, actually fit again. Yay! But that meant re-packing to allow for more Florida-friendly attire.
In all, I stayed up until after 4. And I had to be awake this morning when my alarms went off at 7 because I'm supposed to be getting my windshield replaced in the 8-12 timeframe at my place of business. Grrr. As I headed out the door for work, my cell phone rang and the guy from the glass company agreed to meet me at work at 9 for the appointment, but I haven't heard from him again since then and it's nearing 9:30. I just want to go to the kitchen and get some coffee! This unproductiveness is simply wretched.
