I'm bored and I don't feel like doing anything, but I can't sleep either, so here's

Speak Laurie Halse Anderson (I think that's her name, anyway.) This book is about a girl in high school who has been rejected by all of her friends right before the start of freshman year for reasons you don't find out until later, but are easy to guess. She's sort of a female Holden Caulfield, but not as annoying. Really well written, I thought, and a quick page-turner. Could be triggering, though.

Interworld Neil Gaimon and some other dude. Michael Reeves, maybe? Anyway, I love Neil Gaimon usually, and the idea behind this book is wonderfully sci-fi, and reminds me of the novellas I wrote in my head when I was smoking pot for years. However, the book sucks donkey balls. The main character is fifteen, and the narration starts out like they're trying to make him sound fifteen, but then they realized that it's really hard to write a book in that style and gave up. Also, it gets really boring, due to the thrown-together feeling of the book. All plot, no substance. I didn't even finish the damn thing.

Le Petit Prince Antoine Saint-Frenchman. My French is sketchy, but this book appears to be about some guy who has crashed his plane in the desert and runs into this petulant little brat who makes him draw sheep all the time, then complains that the sheep don't look right. Then he complains about all the planets he's been to and how there are stupid people on every planet. He's probably right, there. Then he falls in love with a fox or something. This book is not like the cartoon at all, but I'm still thinking about finishing it.

Fucking Beowulf Some Old English Monk. I'm pretty convinced that Beowulf is the biggest prick in all of English literature. He's this Danish asshole who goes around showing everyone how big his cock is and ripping the arms off of poor baby grendels, then gets mad when Mama Grendel wants to kill him. Dumbass. He goes up there with Helga Crane of Quicksand, the entire cast of The Great Gatsby, and Delores Umbridge. I wish the dragon would hurry up and kill his ass. I'm reading this for class, of course.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Strategy Guide by who cares. Really fun to look at, and very helpful- if you can find what you're looking for. Also, some of the dates listed for Elizabeth's requests are wrong! WTF, Doublejump Books? I could do better with a FAQ off Gamefaqs, except I really don't want to lug my computer to the game room when it's time to play.
