The Speakeasy party was a blast, as expected. It was really dazzling to see all of the ole co-workers. Free booze is a dangerous thing, but I made it out i one piece.
My sweetheart made it to his hometown after a few tribulations on the road. I miss him so, but am glad he's with his family right now. He adores his mother, sister, and infant neice.
He offered to deliver a gift to my mother's home, which is less than an hour from his current locale. I asked him to bring her some flowers. I had to warn her of the surprise visit that's to be expected, but she has no ideas as to whom might be coming. I get all excited just thinking about how happy she'll be that she gets to meet him. And the flowers- she'll love the flowers! he's not the type to have strapping young lads stopping in to bring a bouquet these days.
Tonight I've prepared an indian soup for some friends who will be stopiing in for a visit. It's very good. Add a little nan from Cedar's and I'll be in hog heaven! oink!
