Well, first things first. I win!!!! It's going in my room. XD!!!! And she's even taking the new piece of crap desk back to the store and getting me the one I wanted. We're also getting an aquarium for the degus so that they can live in the living room from now on. I can't wait until everything's all set up. I'll be happy again!
Well, anyway, the past few days have been interesting. On Saturday, Lisa came to pick me up to go to the mall. I went because I needed a few more things for my costumes, and she bribed me with food. XD Shopping made me realize that I hate being a girl. We were going in different clothing stores and my god, all the t-shirts are shit. They all have stupid things written on them like "princess", "angel", "i'm a fucking slut" (well not that, but i wish). I even saw this awesome tshirt. It was grey with green trim around the sleeves and the bottom. Then Lisa pointed out that there was writing on the front. Let's just say I was mega-angry. And the shirts I would be interested in, are like 30$. You can get jeans for 30$, but a shirt?! WTF?! It probably cost like 5$ to make. And then, I noticed some guy shirts. There was one I loved! It had a goomba on it and it said "you lose" under it! Of course, it was super expensive and it would have been all like big on me anyways. And there were some zodiac tshirts for girls. So they were all in these tacky pastel colours, with sparkles and all of them listed 4 things that that specific sign liked. I can only remember two from the Virgo shirt, but I remember the last two sucked too. Shoe shopping...goddamn I can't stand shoe shopping. However, it was right about me liking smart guys. So during the shopping trip, I decided to stop by Coles to see if they had Wuthering Heights. They did, and it was only 8$! So even though I technically couldn't afford it this month, I got it. And the very next day, it played on TV. XD!!!!!! I only caught the last half so I watched it and laughed because I remembered Linton Linton, but cried because of poor Heathcliff. And one of the worst parts of my shopping experience was Wal-mart. I decided to check out their betas since I had heard that they took very poor care of them. And it's true. Their cups were barely full of water, and after close inspection, it turns out they all had tail rot. The lady said that they got them like that from the supplier and that they were treating them now. So I told her they should find a new supplier. From now on, I'll be keeping my eye on those betas, and if I notice no change, I'll have to speak to someone higher up.
The rest of my weekend consisted of me laying in bed watching tv and taking naps almost all day long. It was kinda nice, especially since Squeaky stayed in my room with me most of the time. And Yul's tail is growing back nicely. ^_^
