This has been the best week I've had in a long time.
So many things are going right.
For starters, I've joined the gym. Hard to believe, I know, but I think that in taking control of a situation I didn't like, I'm feeling a lot better for it. I've been to a class a day, except yesterday, when I was extremely busy all day. My favourite so far is a class called Body Balance. It's a combination of yoga, pilates and tai chi. My stomach muscles are extremely sore, but I'm glad for it, because it means I'm doing something right.
Another thing that's made my week a whole lot better is talking to Alex (yes, I'm giving you props :P). It's so refreshing to have a new friend. I haven't made a new friend in about 2 years, so to be at that "new" stage, where everything about them is a mystery, it feels so good. We've been talking over the microphone on MSN and it's so amazing to think that I'm talking to someone who has a 13 hour time difference from me. We have so many things in common, and we have a lot of fun making fun of our respective accents, phrases etc. So I wanted to say: thank you Alex. You're one of the many things that has made my week :) (and it's bottle, not bahttle :P)
And, of course, where would I be without Khaine? We went to The Whitlams concert on Friday night, and it was amazing. Exactly how I pictured our first concert, but Panic! kinda overrode that one. He even knew some of the songs, which I was so proud of.
I spent all day Saturday at a STAT test preparation day. Very boring, and I was late, but I did have something to look forward to. I went to a housewarming party for a Wiccan couple. They're very nice people, and their house is beautiful. They'd set up the back yard for the celebration of Beltane, and they even had a maypole! It was beautiful.
I hope one day I can celebrate the Sabbats in my own way. For the time being, I'll just have to say a prayer, and store up my plans for years to come.
Khaine's mum let us stay in the same bed. I couldn't believe it. I was so sure she'd say no, but I was hoping and praying she'd say yes, and she did. The last thing she said was "Be good". It was. Very. *grin*
I am so lucky to have him in my life. He'd do anything for me, and he knows I'd do the same. I'm a little anxious to grow up, just because I can't wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together. He says the *cutest* things, and very randomly at that. My favourite would definitely have to be "I can't wait until we have kids". Adorable.
Sorry for the rant, but I can't help it.
I'm really happy.
I'm so grateful for it.
