I is for to be buying things
So things have changed so completely and drastically in a week. I originally planned on keeping up the search for a job and then...
My mom put her opinion in, as always. :P She wanted me to go to school part-time and not worry about finding a job. I said "okay," but then she decided it was better if I went to school full-time instead. Now I'm scrambling to register and get all my stuff paid less than a week before the first day of class, hah.
And I figured since I have to take out loans to live anyway...why not have some fun?
So I'm typing this on my brand new laptop. :3 Originally I dragged Greg to Staples last night just so he could tell me about what kind of machine I should look for, etc...but there was this pretty sweet deal. It's an Acer Aspire with a core duo processor, 160 gig HD, 1 gig RAM, and a 17" widescreen. I mean, this is a beast among laptops; the only thing it's missing is a vid card. I installed WoW on it and I can still play, if a bit jerky. Haha. Greg is going to see if his boss will sell the RAM I have and trade in/buy two 1 gig RAM thingies. I also got a free printer, wewt.
Anyway, it's awesome. :D It's fun to play on, I've been installing things today. AIM, uTorrent, WinAmp, WoW, etc. Greg says he's going to steal it and I've made my windows pink. <3
BTW, Windows Vista is the bomb. I don't know why people have been badmouthing it. It's only the slightest bit different to me, to be quite honest. And the gadgets section... FUCKING RAWKS. <3
Also, Top Chief is such an addicting show.
