interview misadventures

So I was cleaning up around the side of my bed closest to the wall (I swear, if it's a spot out of sight from the doorway then it's bound to get cluttered) when I came across a few issues of Shounen Jump. One of them had the last part of the Yugioh series with Atem walking into the afterlife, so of course I had to read it. The other had some GX story and a writeup about a new card (must've been why I bought the zine) and things that'd work well with it. The artwork -- damn, the stuff from the original Yugioh manga is just so much more detailed and... and interesting than the GX stuff. Maybe it was the issue but it was just so blah by comparison. The inkwork was lightyears apart. Looking over the cards, i realized I am lacking a Dark Armed Dragon, Allure of Darkness, and Eradicator Epidemic Virus for my Fiend deck. Really, they'd be a great help. I also have to incorporate a Monster reborn in there before I go back to Paul's for a tournament.

I would have liked to go today, but lenaf007 had someone to interview for her City of Heroes project and, well, let's say it didn't go smoothly. She was using Skype to interview so it could all be recorded and transcribed as per her teacher's request. She'd used it before and everything worked fine, but this time the program crashed in mid-interview so she got nothing and had to take hurried notes while still talking to the guy. She thinks it's cause the dude lives in Canada and maybe Skype just sucks, but who knows? She's laying down now, trying to get over the desire to smash heads and figure out how to do her assignment -- dueling's the last thing on her mind =P

Poor lenaf007! *HUGS*

I wish bakasaru_chan was here so she can look at my plethora of youtube vids. She's gonna drool at Sephiroth, I just know it XD

And ugh, I still have taxes to do! I hate tax time >_>
