This is a horrible turnout for the day, but my brain has felt kind of scattered. I’m also not feeling really attached to the subject of this story. I think she’s turning into a clichéd woman attacked by monsters trope. I’m not too fond of the implications of that, as a feminist or as a writer, so I’ll have to think about whether or not that’s really the route I want to go with that. I have a feeling I’ve just taken the easy way with this, so I’ve got some reevaluating of the character to do.
I didn’t go to bed last night, and only caught a nap for about 3 hours this morning. I’m trying to beat this insomnia by forcing myself onto a real sleep schedule.
