Yay, civic duty. I went to the polls today at 8:45am. I walked out of the polling station at 8:50am. No lines ;) I made it to work by 9am.

Now begins the hard part - waiting.

Somerville, MA: 1.5 hour wait in line @ 8:15 am. The people I went with said it had never been like that before.

Wow. I hope that bodes well.

Here, I think it helped that we have had easy and prevalent early voting all over the city. I believe early voting records have been shattered, they had "early" voting up until yesterday. Plus, I tried to go at a time when most people would be getting to work.
