Crutching Around
Still on crutches. Have a new found respect for those who tool around on these things. Wow, my underarms hurt! Foot/ankle appears to be on the mend, still can't bear weight, however, the swelling is much reduced - yay. My foot is all purple and blue, but at least it is not as huge.
Small rant: Oh, and this has always been a pet peeve of mine, especially growing up with a grandmother in a wheelchair and then having a mother who needed one, if you go into a bathroom and all 10 stalls are free, please save the handicap one from someone who might need it. I completely understand if all bathrooms are busy, you need the extra space, or there is some other complicating factor, but if you are an average individual, in an average, non-busy restroom with multiple stalls, please use the other stalls first. /Small rant
Also had a rather large mole removed from my back today, in addition to a more wee one. This was probably not the best of timing with the crutches and such (ouch on the back), but it needed to be done and rescheduling would have meant waiting another 2 months. A big thanks to all the medical professionals I have been seeing lately.
On the whole, I am doing okay, just anxious to get walking again. Am dying to see the recent Doctor Who episodes about which everyone has been talking - must not read any more spoilers...
