Well, hello everyone.
This is going to be another one of those posts in which I apologise for my long absence from LJ. As always, I didn't mean to stay away this long, but between an exhausting job, monitor trouble, a 26-day visit from my very special Australian friend
conan76 and a two-week tour of Paris, Barcelona and Rome, I haven't had much opportunity to edit photos lately. However, now that my evenings are my own again and my monitor problems have been solved (I think -- fingers crossed), I'm getting back into the swing of things, and I'm looking forward to spending a bit more time here. I've missed editing photos. I've missed LJ and everyone on it.
Needless to say, I took lots of pictures in Paris, Barcelona and Rome -- pictures of architecture, lanterns, statues, fountains and shadows to offset the truckload of tree-and-beach photos I took in Australia. I've scanned all my Paris photos and most of my Barcelona ones, and hope to get some Rome photos done this weekend. Stay tuned.
As for the photos below, yes, you've seen those before. They're the same photos I posted
a while ago, only this is how I meant them to be seen at the time. Or so I think, anyway. By all means let me know if they look bad on your monitor; I'll gladly spend a few more evenings exploring my monitor's settings. Not. :-)
