The way to my heart is through judicious use of negative space. ;)

Cool photo. You know, I have to say, I usually don't like post-prod 'frames' but you do yours very nicely. It's really good presentation.

I will try to remember that, and act accordingly. :-)

I actually had a lot of trouble coming up with a proper frame for this image. My first impulse was to go with a thin black border, roughly the width of the tree trunk, but that didn't work. I then tried several white borders, all of which I hated, and came close to posting the picture without a frame (the first time I've done that since I learned how to make a border!), before deciding that my regular white frame wasn't so bad, after all. Right now I'm thinking I should have made the frame wider, but never mind, it's done now. I'm glad you like the result. :-)

I really like your icon. It's gorgeously elegant.

That's a great shot.
Again, liking the negative space :)

Thanks, Bella. I'm glad you like it. I'll see if I can dig up a few more negative-spacy photos for you at some point. :-)

This is so beautiful; the curve of the hill is just right. I love negative space, too.

Thank you! I thought this tree was just begging for the negative-space treatment.
