I thought I was more or less done uploading my Egypt photos, but no. Every time I browse through my scans and negatives, I come across hitherto unposted pictures which I think merit being posting. Such as these three photos of the Colossus of Ramses II, an absolutely massive full-length statue which once stood upright but now lies prone on an ugly concrete floor, its mighty feet broken.
If there's something vaguely dirty about the last image, well, then, so be it. :-)

mitzimaybe? There were people around when I was taking my pictures. And in this case, I deliberately included the bloke in blue, just to give some perspective. He was pretty tall by Egyptian standards, so that tells you how big the statue is.)
