Piles and piles of ancient rubble
So I had another go at these...

8thirteen, these were toned with a combination of Butzi's Selenium and Rustica 1 curves. What do you think? I like them quite a bit, but again, I'm wondering if the toning isn't a little too dark and unsubtle...
For the record, yes, I'm aware there are smudges on the bottom one. I'll remove them eventually, but right now, I can't be bothered. :-)
