Back in business!
Thats right, couldn't really stay away for long could I?
So yup, the good ol computer is fixed finally, and now i do not have to update on my parents comp... Thank god, it took me twice as long to type in it! hehe :)
So I had a decent weekend, gave my friend my computer and he upgraded it and made it *wonderful*! Now i need to figure out a way to thank him... This is going to be interesting since i really have no money hehe :)
Any ideas?
Today was not the best of days at work. It was really hot, and the air conditioning was not working for the beginning part of the day. In fact my boss did nothing about it until I actually spoke up. I wear solid black at work, this does not help when its really hot :P
But since it was so hot everybody was really cranky. The customers were rude, and we were rude right back! I felt bad at how I sounded on the intercom, so I tried to smile more when they were actually at the window facing me. hehe, didn't work all that well....
One girl came in right after coming through drive thru, and bitched at us that she didn't get any ketchup, and was not even asked if she wanted any. I told her quite calmly and kindly that we were told from the people above that we were not suppose to ask them anymore, and if they want something, they were to ask us. (same as the opening, instead of "welcome to...how may I help you?" it is now "How may I help you?")
So she got real rude and said "and what? I didn't even get a thank you"
So when she was walking away I said in a oh so chipper and loud voice "THANK YOU!!!"
Bitch....
I thought it was funny though... but for all those people out there who want to tell me that I could get in trouble for that, one of my bosses was standing right next to me. She thought the girl was a bitch as well.
So la di da. :D
The rest of the day was spent either talking to Guy on the phone, or playing the waiting game for my computer to come home to me. Once it was home I had to wait another two hours to actually get to my emails and what not, since the people would not leave rofl.... Sorry, it was the wife and brother in law that came by, Not the person who fixed it. I get along better with him... So when I actually did get to come online, there was 53 emails waiting for me :D
I felt so special... and only about ten were actual spam....
Later on in the day I went to the store, and decided to pop back into work to see if I could catch my friend, since he was getting off work. I did, and we ended up going to the casino, where I only spent five dollars... I lost it, but hey, its not that bad.
And now I am here.
I can't wait for Guy to get the cd's I sent to him! I hope they come today, or at least by friday... I hate waiting around hehe :)
Since our music tastes are so different, I really want to hear back about that hehe :)
(oh if you only knew what i put on those cd's!)
So this friday might be fun, My best friend normally works friday nights, but because she is building onto her house, her work days have changed. So her friday night is free. We are either going to do a fun little photo shoot :D
Or she is going to throw a bonfire party at her house. It depends on how many people are free to come. I will have fun either way....
Though I have such fun ideas for a photo shoot! But I will do them someday, so its not a huge deal....
At least I will get getting out of the house...
I must not let this computer run my life! hehe :) (yeah right... I am typing at one in the morning :P)
