Hon? You seem to know this fandom better than I do ... is Umino Iruka's first or last name? I thought it was his first name, but I'm now starting to suspect that Umino and Hatake are last names.

Any idea which is which, and is there a site that tells for sure?

Iruka is the first name and Kakashi is the first name.
Umino and Hatake are last names.

hee, very nice and hot. >) one thing is bugging me...that "12 years later" bit. it sounds like the second part is set toward the beginning of the anime, which would make them both extremely young in the beginning...as iruka is only supposed to be 22 or 23 in the beginning of the series. >.>

Damnit, you're absolutely right! I fixed it, in both places where the inconsistency arose. If Kakashi figured out at 15 that he was gay, but it's 12 years prior to the series, then this is taking place when he's 14 ... yeah. Thank you for catching that!

I'm the type of writer who becomes OBSESSED with pairings, so yeah, there'll be more out of me. The last pairing with which I became totally enamored (Edward Elric + Russel Tringham from FMA) grossed 100 fictions before I burnt out on it. It's very possible that the same will happen with this pairing for me.
